GLASSES OF BLOODY MARY WITH OYSTERS
Trying to cook a recipe on the web yesterday I stumbled across the recipe of the famous Bloody Mary cocktail .. but the things that intrigued me is the legend associated with the name of this drink ..
Bloody Mary was a girl about 14 years. One day went into a coma from a serious disease, diphtheria, highly contagious. His father, a doctor, died accidentally retained, so the parents buried her. However, the mother, hoping she could have been a mistake and that her daughter was still alive, tied to his arm which was attached a wire to a bell placed on the surface. Several times she claimed to have heard the tinkle of the bell, but her husband does not believe the crazy thought. Nth feeling of having heard the bell, the man was persuaded to exhume the coffin, and when it was opened in horror as the couple discovered that Mary had pulled all the nails scratching the wall trying to get out of the box. By now it was too late for her and her parents went insane from the pain of having killed their daughter.
Glasses of Bloody Mary oysters
80 ml vodka 125 grams of tomato juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
a dash of Worcestershire sauce 2 drops Tabasco
a pinch of salt 12 oysters
1 cucumber, peeled and chopped julienne
In a pitcher combine the vodka, tomato juice, Worcester sauce, Tabasco and salt. Mix well and leave in refrigerator for 30 minutes, until it is very cold. Just before serving, fill the cups 2 / 3 full and drop in each oyster. Garnish with a tablespoon of cucumber, cut into julienne strips. As a final touch of pepper.
